No, the procedure is painless and comfortable. We apply a numbing cream before starting to ensure you do not feel any discomfort.
Immediately after treatment, your skin will appear red, similar to a sunburn. This redness typically subsides within a few hours, and most redness will have disappeared by 24 hours.
You will start seeing results within a few days, with full results visible at about 4 weeks. Maximum benefits are usually achieved with 3-6 sessions, depending on the skin concerns treated.
For microneedling to be effective, your skin should turn fully red during the treatment. This inflammation triggers skin healing and collagen production. If your skin only turned slightly blotchy, it may not have been sufficient.
